In a controversial statement, Nollywood actor Stephen Alajemba, popularly known as Uwaezuoke, has stirred debate by asserting that men should marry at least three wives to protect themselves from harm.
During a recent interview, the actor expressed his belief that men who marry fewer than three wives risk being poisoned by their spouses. He argued that monogamy and even polygamy with just two wives could lead to conspiracies that endanger the husband life.

"It is a sin to marry one or two wives. But if you marry three or four, you will be free from sin," Uwaezuoke stated. "If you marry only one wife, your life is at risk. The safety of the director is in the hands of the security. If you marry two wives, they will conspire to poison you."

He continued by explaining that with three or more wives, each wife would be preoccupied with her own needs, leaving the husband less vulnerable to potential schemes. "But if you marry three or more wives, they will all be on their own, and you will only be providing for them. You will be taking turns with their meals and bedrooms," he added.
