Import duty waiver on food items now fully implemented by President Tinubu
Basic food items will no longer attract import duty and value-added tax (VAT) after President Bola Tinubu signed off on the directive.
This was announced by a letter from the Ministry of Finance that was addressed to the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS).
